Power of Print announces diverse line-up for 2018 event

Two Sides has announced its line-up of speakers for the eighth annual Power of Print conference, set to take place next month.


Around 200 delegates are expected at the seminar

Returning to Stationers’ Hall, London, on Tuesday 6 November, the seminar expects 200 delegates from across print, publishing, marketing and advertising to attend as a range of global experts speak about the possibilities and the future of print.

Speakers will include Joe Waterton, head of philanthropy at Macmillan Cancer Support, who will show how printed communications are a more widely-trusted method of conveying important medical information to patients.

August Media campaign director Katherine Punch, Marks & Spencer packaging technologist Kevin Vyse and Reach chief executive Simon Fox are among the other names joining Waterton on the 11-strong speaker line-up.

Two Sides events and membership manager Tandy Wakeford said: “With this seminar, we try to provide something for everybody and hope people come away inspired and informed on the future of print. We have an eclectic selection we hope will resonate with attendees.

“Big brands are always an exciting preposition at Power of Print, and we have great additions from Macmillan, M&S and Reach on our line-up this year that I am excited to see."

Wakeford said that one of the goals of the event is to highlight to brand owners the opportunities offered by print in their marketing strategies.

"I anticipate an absolute sell-out event this year,” she added.

The seminar will run from 10am to 5.30pm and is hosted by Two Sides in partnership with Print Power and the BPIF, whose chief executive Charles Jarrold will open proceedings.
