Communisis has appointed an additional non-executive director who bring extensive experience in financial services and retail to the PLC.

Addition to board is part of growth strategy

At its AGM today (10 May) the group announced that Helen Sachdev had joined as a non-exec as part of its growth strategy.

She is currently chief operating officer at estate agent Marsh & Parsons, and prior to that held senior roles at Barclays, Tesco and Sainsbury’s. Sachdev is also a non-executive director at Loughborough Building Society.

At the AGM, Communisis chairman David Gilbertson said that trading expectations for 2018 were unchanged, and the £376m turnover group was making progress with the three-year Value Enhancement Programme growth plan that was launched alongside its year-end results.

The current board comprises Gilbertson, CEO Andy Blundell, CFO Steve Rawlins, and non-executive directors Peter Harris, Helen Keays and Jane Griffiths.
