Memjet (Hall 5, C24) is exhibiting with a brace of new and existing OEM partners who are each demonstrating high-speed, digital colour devices powered by Memjet's printhead technology.
The US-headquartered firm's new OEM partners are Portugal-based New Solution, which is showcasing Memjet-powered machinery on its own stand, German-based manufacturer Digikett and Taiwanese low-cost 3D printer manufacturer XYZprinting, both of which are demonstrating on the Memjet booth.
“XYZ are using our technology to move more from consumer into the B2B space,” said Memjet chairman and chief executive Len Lauer.
Existing OEM partners including Xanté, Colordyne, Delphax and Astro Machine are also demonstrating machinery on Memjet's stand while Canon, Trojan, Afinia and Xerox are showcasing products on their own Drupa stands powered by the technology.
“The key feature functionality of our technology is speed, affordability and high print quality. Our OEMs' presses typically sell for about 50% to 60% of what a competitive press would sell for and our running costs are normally about the same. The main reason we're so affordable is because our printheads are so simple to integrate,” said Lauer.
