Envelope supplier Blake Envelopes has secured a "significant" new distribution partnership with office supplies distributor Spicers.
The distribution agreement became active in mid-October and means that 21 different Blake Premium Business papers and envelopes, which are all suitable for digital printing, are now available to purchase from Spicers' stock for next-day delivery.
Blake managing director Michael Barter said: “Our partnership with Spicers is a significant step for Blake.
“We have worked hard building strong relationships with dealer groups over recent years and we hope that this new partnership will be welcomed by the UK’s dealer network, office catalogue companies and high-street stationers.”
The Blake Premium Business papers and envelopes will be included in the new Spicers 2016 catalogue.
Spicers marketing director Rebecca Stallard said: “Introducing the range from Blake allows our customers to open opportunities with clients who want to produce impactful communication and mail-outs.
“In partnership with Blake, we’ll be working with and helping dealers promote the range and identify areas of new business potential.”
Blake said it is working with Spicers to have more of its products available from the office supplies company in the near future.
Blake recently launched more than 300 new products, all of which are detailed in the firm's new product catalogue, i16. It also won a major retail contract with office supplies firm Staples earlier this year.
The company, which has 54 staff and is anticipating a turnover of £25m this year, has around 7,000sqm warehouse space and 1,580sqm office space.
The business designs and sells more than two billion envelopes a year. It currently ships to 18 countries, including Australia, Barbados, Jamaica and a number in Europe.
