This years poster category was possibly the tightest on record, but the title was deservedly secured by Augustus Martin.

An in-house ink-production facility and over 40 years of experience have enabled the company to become one of CBS Network’s preferred suppliers and the only appointed supplier for the special-effect ink finishes on the London Underground. Augustus stood out thanks to a limited-edition set of eight-sheet posters for CBS using a specially developed range of inks designed to achieve results comparable to high-quality POS. Also making up the firm’s arresting portfolio were a Dolce & Gabbana Showcase Square and a Nike Grid six-sheet, printed using the screen process for opacity and maximum impact.

Commended – The Delta Group

The Delta Group was commended for work including a poster for Disney’s Cars 2, a six-sheet poster for Universal Pictures’ Sanctum and two projects for 20th Century Fox: a Rio campaign and a 12-sheet Knight and Day commission.

Commended – SMP Group

SMP Group has consolidated its reputation for high-quality poster printing by adding another commendation to its collection of six wins and now three commendations in 10 years. This year’s Pirates of the Caribbean poster was so popular that the client ordered 200 more than originally commissioned.
