What do you think will be the greatest opportunity for and threat to the print industry next year?
The greatest opportunity will be to promote our competitiveness to win business, both in the UK and Europe. The challenge for UK PLC Print is to be more flexible, innovative, and adaptable, and to take advantage of the opportunities. The greatest threat is for UK PLC Print not to invest in skills, capital equipment, and environmental priorities.
What do you believe is the most under-recognised aspect in printing that is likely to gain more prominence in 2012?
Advanced graphic materials and processes that offer added value, and reduced cost, through innovation.
What do you hope to get out of Drupa 2012?
Establishing who has been developing the best digital print innovation that is ready for the 2012 print market, plus a great networking experience.
What new technology do you expect to see at Drupa 2012 in your sector?
Lots of new digital models, printing on a wider range of substrates and thicknesses.
What new technology do you expect to see at Drupa 2012 in other sectors?
Lots of printed electronics, software, Android technologies, and mixed media communications.

Faster, smarter, more flexible and more eco efficient products and services

Improve, improve, improve! We'll roll out our innovation and technology and use our new superfast broadband to improve services.
