Monday, September 19, 2011

One word that describes Ipex South Asia?
Very small.

The most unique stall at Ipex South Asia?

Ricoh. It is a well designed stall and has good displays.

Which Indian stall did you like the best?
PaperBind.

If we gave you a blank cheque what would you buy at Ipex South Asia?
Xerox 1000 and GMG software.

If you could be born either a great print technocrat + expert or a very rich print CEO, which one would you choose?
A print expert, it has to be the obvious choice.

Choose: offset or digital?
Even in my dreams it will be digital!

What is the most interesting post-press operation you saw at the Ipex South Asia show? The PUR binding at the PaperBind stall.

You have to produce a print job on the show ground. Choose a technology.
I will use the Xerox technology.

What’s your idea of a perfect print trade show?
It should be bigger. The print industry should be represented at a whole with the participation of the small players and benefit the end-users. An equivalent to Drupa is an ideal description of a perfect print trade show.

Your favourite print personality?
P Narendra. He personifies humility; is a great leader, and his persona commands respect.

The next print trade show you are looking forward to?
Drupa. We have already booked our seats!

If you were the last printer left on earth, what would you do?
Of course, print death certificates!
