Ajay Piramal and Vir Sanghvi confirm their presence for BMPA Print Summit 2012

The Bombay Master Printer's Association (BMPA), the premier print association in India, has announced that Ajay Piramal, chairman of Piramal Healthcare, will speak at Print Summit 2012 at the Tata Theatre, NCPA on 24 February.

In addition, Vir Sanghvi, editorial director of Hindustan Times, will address an elite gathering of printers CEOs.

The sixth edition of the Print Summit 2012 will be hosted on 23 and 24 February 2012. The other significant development is that the BMPA and PrintWeek India have joined hands to undertake future editions of Print Summit together. Print Summit 2012 will be held at the Tata Theatre which is part of the NCPA complex in South Mumbai.

According to Fred Poonawala, a BMPA committee member and key organiser of the Summit: "This two day Print Summit will have the best print firms who speak about, and share key facets of their success stories. The focus is pan-India; and not merely print firms in Mumbai."

"Good ideas are at a premium," said Hemant Bhotica, president of BMPA. "The Print Summit conference provides a platform for us to share our deep insight into consumer behavior and customer needs. We're trying to ensure there is no product sell or product-speak; so that delegates get full value of their time and money."

The Print Summit in 2011 hosted more than 400 delegates. The star attraction at the Print Summit 2011 was Kishore Biyani, the group chief executive of Future Group who delivered the keynote address.

In 2009, the highlight was the ‘Paa-and-Son’ panel session moderated by Pranav Parikh and Faheem Agboatwala. The panel had the father-son combination of Ramesh and Siddharth Kejriwal of Parksons Packaging; Manoj and Jinesh Mehta of Utility Printpack; Arun and Bimal Mehta of Vakil & Sons.
