Three more large print tenders – including a multi-supplier framework worth £20m – are currently up for grabs via the government’s Find a Tender service.

The Association of North East Councils, which trades as the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO), is seeking to establish a multi-supplier framework agreement for the provision of election and electoral registration printing and related services for use by contracting authorities throughout the North East region.

It said suppliers wishing to be considered for this framework agreement should register their expression of interest and submit a tender through the NEPO eTender system.

“The framework agreement will consist of a maximum of three suppliers who are able to provide both compliant election and electoral registration printed materials and associated services,” the organisation stated.

Worth £20m, the contract is not divided into lots. It is due to run for four years, and it is anticipated that the framework agreement will be subject to future renewals. The deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 12pm on 7 October 2021.

Meanwhile, Efficiency East Midlands (EEM), a not-for-profit consortium that counts 231 public sector organisations among its members, is conducting a tender exercise to procure a print management services framework to replace its existing framework, which will expire on Friday (10 September).

The framework, which is split into two different lots – printing, fulfilment, and mailing; and hybrid mail – will provide EEM members with a provision for a wide range of printing and mailing needs.

The value of the contract is £5m and its current duration is set at four years. The deadline to submit a response to this tender is 12am on 6 October 2021. It will then start on 6 December 2021 and is scheduled to end on 5 December 2025.

“The call-off contracts to be awarded pursuant to the framework agreements to be entered at conclusion of the procurement exercise may extend for a duration of up to two years beyond expiry of the four-year framework term,” EEM added.

“The total potential framework value stated within this notice is in relation to the full four-year framework and takes into consideration the lot structure, length of call-off contracts and that the EEM membership may grow over the framework lifetime.”

Finally, the University of Leeds has a tender open for the printing of items including leaflets, brochures, and posters for its Print and Copy Bureau.

Worth £1.05m, the contract is not divided into lots but involves the establishment of a framework agreement with “several operators”. The deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 9am on 15 October 2021. The contract is set to run for 36 months and is subject to renewal.
