According to the Dutch-owned company, the machine is aimed at both printers and finishing houses that are new to the market.

It can apply finishing and protective films, as well as double-sided adhesive films and is priced at £3,958.

It uses two silicone rollers and can handle materials as thick as 25mm with a maximum width of 1,400 millimetres. Running speed can reach four metres per minute.

Marketing and communication manager Frank Seemann said: "With this new machine, users obtain everything they need with for the professional finishing of various types of materials. Both single and double-sided cold lamination is possible."
