Schawk appoints new creative lead to Retail Marketing division

Schawk has strengthened its growing creative offering with the recruitment of former Arc Worldwide group creative director Heidi Schoeneck.

Shoeneck has been appointed to the role of executive creative director of the global packaging pre-press giant's Schawk Retail Marketing division.

She brings extensive experience in promotional and shopper marketing from leading organisations including Arc, DraftFCB and Euro and has won several industry awards for her creative work, including PRO, Tempo, POPAI and Globe Awards.

Michael Komasinski, group managing director of Schawk Retail Marketing, said: "Our diverse client roster requires a creative leader that can understand shopper motivation and inspire them to buy across product categories from fashion to tools to food."

He added that Shoeneck had a "clear ability to provide thoughtful, strategic, and creative leadership" to both clients and colleagues.

In her new role, Schoeneck will drive the creative vision for Schawk Retail Marketing and provide creative inspiration for its portfolio of clients.

Her appointment follows the recent acquisition of Brandimage and last year's purchases of Real Branding and Untitled London, all of which now operate under Schawk's Anthem Worldwide brand.
