RPM Digital bids to bring marketing automation SMEs

RPM Digital is targeting SMEs struggling with mind-boggling marketing technology with a service billed as “intelligent multi-channel automation”.

Director Andy Place said business owners and marketing leads are put off by the perceived complexity of marketing automation.

RPM: React launched this week to provide bespoke technology to firms in the Dorset area. Millie Earl is sales and marketing executive for the new brand.

Wimborne-based Place employs six staff and runs two Xerox printers, a Colour 1000 press and a Nuvera, and XMPie software. Turnover is currently £300,000.

We would like to take that figure to £500,000 in two years and have 30 customers. The new launch may result in us splitting the company in due course; we're wrestling with the idea.”

Place said the new service is “channel agnostic” and will run across print, web, email and mobile device technologies.

Integrating print is a good USP: many people in the marketing sector don't integrate print, but we do. That's where we started and continue to excel.”

Place said he is working with a national franchise group to streamline communication processes via an online store offering franchisees product purchases and live marketing campaigns.

We can guide businesses through every stage of the process - through listening to their pinch points, devising a strategy, developing and implementing a solution and analysing outcomes.”

He said developments in automation have paved the way for powerful, data-driven campaigns that gave businesses competitive advantage.

Combined with our expertise in modern marketing, bespoke service and ability to integrate dynamic print, RPM: React has the tools to support businesses looking to explore automation.”

Place said his company has been working to bring the technology to the local West Country market for over two years. Automation is changing how businesses communicate with their customers, he added.

We’ve been working with local and national businesses, building bespoke marketing portals and automated multichannel campaigns allowing them to refocus their energy on strategic and creative themes rather than operational and repetitive tasks.”
