The move is part of plans for the merchant to develop its status as a one-stop-shop paper merchant. Robert Horne managing director Dave Allen said he is not ruling out further acquisitions in the market.
He said: "This signals our commitment to sustained growth within the plastics market which complements our position as market leader in the graphic display industry.
"We will continue to develop this market both by organic growth and possible future acquisitions."
Vink Plastics UK is a national distributor for the sign, graphics and construction industry and has sites in 14 different European countries. Robert Horne has acquired the sites in Manchester and Dublin.
The Robert Horne Group is based in Northampton and distributes paper, plastics and board merchant and is a part of PaperlinX.
The group includes The Robert Horne Paper Co, Robert Horne Business Papers, Glenmore Business Papers, Robert Horne Sign & Display and Robert Horne Industrial Plastics.
