Rebrand for Latcham Direct
Tuesday, February 2, 2021
Latcham Direct has rebranded as Latcham, with a new look, website and updated brand messaging.
Established in 2010, the business now employs more than 100 people between its office in Crawley and purpose-built 8,000sqm print facility in Bristol and has developed from a print, mail and fulfilment company to a provider of full service, tailored, personalised communications and fulfilment.
It said the new company name and branding, which went live on 18 January, recognises “the considerable equity in the Latcham name which comes from its ability to deliver professional, managed services, together with creative and inspiring work”.
The business said its new imagery, meanwhile, has been designed to reflect connectivity – namely the connections between Latcham and its clients, and between organisations and their audiences that Latcham brings to life.
With its new website, Latcham aims to raise the profile of the company's online presence, “offering an intuitive, engaging and accessible design”.
Latcham said that despite the challenges of 2020, the company forged ahead to implement a greener working environment, including the installation of chargers for electric cars.
The business also recruited new senior members to its team, including Les Keen, who started as sales director in January 2020, and Peter Tapparo, who started as finance director in April. It has also expanded its sector specialist team, taking on Richard Sargent in August to support its healthcare focus.
Latcham managing director Mike Hughes said: “We’re excited to share this new branding, which represents an important step in our evolution as a brand. We’re extremely proud of what we have achieved, both over the last eleven years and under the challenging circumstances of 2020.
“Our new branding reflects our forward-thinking attitude, which is very much part of the DNA of our company.
“Everything we do is with our customers in mind; we hope that these changes make the business easier to understand in terms of the breadth and depth of our service offering and further improves both the customer experience of our website and excellence of our project delivery.”
Just prior to the coronavirus pandemic, Latcham installed a second high-speed inkjet Canon Océ VarioPrint i300 sheetfed inkjet press. This followed its October 2019 acquisition of fellow Bristol firm Accent.
Serving both the public and private sectors, Latcham has worked for clients including Amazon, the NHS and SSE.
