Print trio recognised in International Track 200

A trio of print companies have been recognised in this year’s Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200.
The league table, which was published on Sunday (10 February), lists Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing overseas sales, ranked according to the compound annual growth (CAGR) in their international sales over the latest two financial years.
London-headquartered Delta Group is this year’s highest ranked industry name, climbing 20 places to 36th, with annual international sales growth of 90% over the past two years.
The company recorded international sales of £12.2m for the financial year ending December 2017, while its overall turnover was £81m.
Delta Group chief executive Jason Hammond said the company was “thrilled” by its placing on the list.
“Our performance is reflected in our excellent client service and significant new business wins through 2018,” he said.
“The whole team have worked relentlessly to achieve our objectives and reach the level of success we are enjoying today.”
Midsomer Norton-based Integrity Print is new to the list this year in 46th place with its international sales hitting £2.6m in the financial year ending December 2017, up 83% on the previous year.
The company, which has a contract to supply Ghana with subscription pads, recorded overall turnover for the year of £48.6m.
London-headquartered luxe design and print specialist Moo is also new to the list this year. Ranked 191st, the firm recorded international sales of £78.8m for the financial year ending December 2017, up 33% over the past two years. North America accounted for 70% of its total revenue of £90.3m.
Meanwhile, PrintWeek owner Mark Allen Group climbed seven places to 89th with international sales of £8.2m, up 62% year-on-year.
The 200 companies in the list, which also include well-known names such as outdoor gear retailer Mountain Warehouse, craft beer producer BrewDog, and cosmetics brand Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, grew their combined overseas sales from £6bn to £14.1bn over the last two years.
This surge in exports came as the bar to achieve a place on the league table reached the highest level in its history, despite uncertainty over Brexit.
Fitness clothing brand Gymshark, which sells directly to customers in 178 countries through 13 multilingual websites, topped this year’s league table. The Solihull-headquartered business grew its overseas sales by 228% per annum to £81m, on total sales of £103.2m, for the financial year ending July 2018.
Fast Track has published league tables of the UK’s top-performing private companies with The Sunday Times for the past 22 years.
Companies had to be registered in the UK and be independent, unquoted and ultimate holding companies. Total sales had to be at least £25m and international sales at least £1m in the latest financial year.
