Perfect Colours adds two HP flatbeds to its showroom display

Perfect Colours has bolstered its showroom after adding two new HP flatbed UV machines to its display of large-format machines.

The demonstration suite, which opened last year, is equipped with a raft of HP machines for customers to see in action and is the only UK reseller to showcase the new Scitex FB910 printer.

The FB910 flatbed is designed for the production of durable outdoor and indoor-based applications such as signs, banners, POP displays, posters and billboards.

It uses 18 piezo printheads and can output at resolutions of 600x600dpi at a maximum speed of 74.3sqm an hour.

In addition to the Scitex, Perfect Colours has installed the new HP Designjet H45000 printer, formerly the ColorSpan 5400uv series.

The machine is available in four- and six-colour specification offering speeds of up to 36sqm an hour.

The Designjet can also convert from a roll-fed to a flatbed printer and print directly on rigid display boards or flexible media.

Managing director Jason Burroughs said: "This is an exciting opportunity for both ourselves and HP as these recent installs will allow us to demonstrate the full range of HP print products."

To celebrate the installations, all visitors to register at www.perfectflatbeds.com by 1 December 2008, will be entered into a free prize draw to win a £5,000 voucher to spend on any Hewlett Packard-badged product.
