Overmatter: Nevermind the size...

We’ve had our fair share of size-related bloopers over the years here at PrintWeek, and we know how easy it is for those devilish units of measurement to occasional cause confusion or embarrassing mix-ups.

As a result, we have every sympathy with Becky Pye, who ordered a lovely photo print online of her cute seven-month-old daughter Zoey swimming. Becky bought herself a nice frame, of an A3 sort of size, and sat back and waited for the print to arrive.

When it did, reports the Daily Mirror, Becky thought the postal tube looked a bit big but imagined it was just one of those over-packaging things.

But no, the actual print was huge – at least A1 by the looks of it. Too big for the frame and indeed for the entire bathroom wall where it was intended to have pride of place. And the photo Zoey was bigger than actual Zoey.

Oh dear! All we can say is “Nevermind…”
