Nth Degree moves as part of expansion

Wide-format distributor Nth Degree Imaging has relocated following a boost in sales.

Nth Degree Imaging, formerly located in Bishops Stortford in Hertfordshire, moved 50 miles to Peterborough last month as part of a strategic expansion plan.

The new, modern industrial premises at Orton Southgate benefits from better transport links, the firm said.

Sales director Ian Prosser said: "Since new directors joined the company in June 2013 we've increased turnover by slightly more than 80 per cent, which is phenomenal.”

The new base was used by nine staff as an office, show room and repair centre but not for warehousing, as the company used a managed facility for stock distribution, he said.

“We are looking for new staff to keep up with the work. A key to our success is that we do everything: sales and support; not everyone offers this commitment.”

Nth Degree Imaging is a UK authorised dealer for Roland printers, an official Epson distributor and service partner for Epson’s large-format inkjet printers.

More recently it was appointed distributor for the new flatbed and hybrid UV printer range from SignRacer. Nth Degree is partner for EuroMedia wide-format media for solvent, UV and latex inks.

Prosser said: “We have a settled portfolio that forms a good springboard for moving further forward. But when we look to expand we want something that's a bit different, rather than a me-too product.”
