Nth Degree Imaging becomes Epson service partner

Nth Degree Imaging has become a UK service partner for Epson’s large-format inkjet printers.

The Hertfordshire-based firm, which has been selling Epson products since its inception in 2008 and has been an official Epson distributor since June 2013, has started the service partnership with immediate effect.

Managing director Phil Dowson said Nth Degree would ‘take control for the customer’ and manage any interaction required with Epson. This includes a yearly service and on-site maintenance work carried out by Nth Degree, which will charge back to Epson for parts and labour.

Dowson said: “Our relationship with Epson has been established for many years during which we have consistently outsold our targets of Epson technology throughout the UK.

“We can now service our customers directly, all with the backup of Epson’s team of field engineers, technical support and priority parts supply, if required”.

Technical director Matt Crowther, an Epson trained, large-format inkjet engineer, added: “We recognise that having sold a customer a wide-format inkjet printer, the relationship should not end there.

“Unlike many traditional hardware resellers we can also offer a full range of media, consumables, colour management tools and workflow software, all backed up by industry leading service and technical support.

“We see this as an ongoing partnership with our customers and, as a result, we are always available for advice and help, free of charge, to help ensure the customer’s printer is running at optimum levels of performance.”

Nth Degree Imaging also offers technology including Augmented Reality (AR) services and colour management software packages and services. Earlier this year it teamed up with Glossop Cartons to help the Derbyshire-based carton board and packaging printer to launch an AR service.
