What’s at the top of your Christmas wish list this year?
A definitive decision on Brexit.

What trend (business or technology) do you think 2018 will be remembered for
The great rush away from anything with the word plastic in it.

What do you think will represent the single biggest opportunity for printers in 2019 and why?
To show the world that sometimes print is the best alternative.

What do you think will represent the single biggest threat for printers in 2019 and why?
To ignore the above.

What’s the one thing that the industry should do more of, or do better, in 2019
Innovate or watch the industry continue to decline.

What was your biggest disappointment in 2018?
Jumping in the swimming pool on holiday then spending the next four months in plaster!! 

What was your highlight of 2018?
There hasn’t been one!!!!

What are your hopes for 2019?
Stability and the return of some confidence.

What is your one-word view on Brexit?
Apocalypse.

What was the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
My father was fond of saying “in 100 years’ time they won’t be talking about this”, usually following an event that at the time seemed a catastrophe.

What if anything will you do differently in 2019?
Continue to find companies to work with that are not in our industry.
