KEP maintains technical edge with StitchLiner

KEP Print Group has invested in a Horizon StitchLiner, as part of the firms continued growth.

Having moved into litho from screen print five years ago, the Tamworth-based company has grown its turnover to 5m, a rise of 25% in the past year alone.

Managing director Mark Plowman said the transformation of the business had been made possible with the aid of new technologies and working practices.

The StitchLiner saddle-stitching line includes a collator, folder, stitcher and three-knife trim in one controlled and automated unit.
KEP has run a Horizon Vac-Turbo collator with stitch and fold for the past three years, and more recently fitted the Horizon AFC-544 Touch folding machine.
