Print management company JPS is celebrating its 25th birthday this month and has attributed its longevity to its passion for print and high quality customer service.

Founded by brother and sister team John and Bridget Petty in 1994, the company initially produced traditional catalogues and direct mail campaigns and now delivers a full spectrum of print communications for high-profile fashion, home and lifestyle brands including Charles Tyrwhitt, Scotts & Co, ME+EM, Pure Collection, Bamboo Clothing, Brook Taverner and Osprey London.

Commercial director Bridget Petty said: “What sets us apart is we maintain very good relationships with our print suppliers. We are process-driven and provide comprehensive briefs and schedules, remaining in daily contact so nothing is left to chance.

“We nurture the relationship and pay on time. Behaving decently towards suppliers brings reciprocal respect and ensures our client’s work remains a priority.”

JPS co-director Fiona Maurice added the company has also sought “to offer more sustainable print solutions” as its clients and their customers become more environmentally conscious.

“With paper costs representing 65% of the average print budget, we work with printers to advise clients on ways to use paper more economically to reduce unnecessary waste.”

Managing director John Petty said the business has grown with its customers as they have moved into e-commerce and social media and, working closely with its suppliers, “has helped retailers focus on what’s achievable within their print budget and timeframe”.

He added: “On our 25th anniversary, we raise a glass in thanks to our suppliers and clients, past and present. Our passion for print has got us here and we aim to continue delighting customers with high quality service for years to come.”
