Innotech targets soft signage growth with new products

Innotech is targeting its latest inkjet media range of textiles for wide-format printers at the growing soft-signage market.

TEXstyle incorporates two ranges: Classic and Premium. According to Innotech, Classic is a core range of textiles for everyday use, while Premium is suited to high-end applications in terms of print quality, specification and longevity.

The knitted or woven polyester comes in weights of 110gsm to 340gsm. Premium costs from £3.50/sqm to £7.50/sqm, Classic from £1.50/sqm to £4.50/sqm.

Both ranges are sold in reels of up to 100m in length, said marketing manager Kieran Dallow, adding the target users were grand format printers with 3.2m to 5m-wide machines.

“There are solutions for both direct print and dye-sublimation up to 5m wide and each media is PVC free, lightweight and crease free,” he said.

“We were getting more enquiries from customers for these kind of materials and we were keen they would not have to wait for delivery.

“Currently there aren't many stockists with these types of textiles on the shelf. We work with resellers but for now customers buy direct from us.”

Dallow said: “Demand is constantly increasing as more people diversify into soft signage and our customers like the price: some had been charged over the odds for these kind of items.

“They want more stockist options and access to these products on the shelf in the UK for immediate delivery. We saw ourselves as suited to fulfil these demands.”

Innotech is based in Bardon, Leicestershire and sells by phone or online.
