Inc Direct adds to CRM know-how with new role

Inc Direct has boosted its sales reach with the appointment of Roger Stevens in the newly created role of CRM director.

Stevens previously worked in cross-media business development at Howard Hunt.

Enfield-based Inc Direct was crowned PrintWeek Company of the Year in October. The £6m business employs around 60 staff and specialises in highly personalised print and cross-media marketing campaigns.

Andy Bailey, director of client strategy and insight, described Stevens as “really speaking our language” in the fast-moving world of customer relationship management. “Roger will play a key role in introducing Inc Direct’s evolving innovations to a wider audience,” he said.

“Roger’s experience on the data side and in getting to the heart of clients’ issues will be a great fit,” he added.

Bailey said the firm had also set up its own research and development team to develop new solutions and ideas, writing customised software that complements the technology from Xerox and XMPie already used by Inc.

“We’re creating tools that will drive print, combined with other communications, all in one portal,” he explained. “It’s about complete CRM tools for clients, from till to doormat.”

Stevens took up his new role yesterday (2 December).
