In2Print launches hotel printing service

Commercial printer In2Print has teamed up with hotel marketing agency Journey to launch a dedicated design and print service intended to cater to the needs of hospitality venues.

The service, which launched a few weeks ago, is branded Hotel Print. Journey provides the marketing and collateral design aspect of the service while Cheltenham-based In2Print is responsible for the print and distribution.

Hotel Print is centred around a print management system that enables individual hotels to manage their requirements easily and tailor printed material to suit their needs.

As part of the service, In2Print provides clients with a free print audit, which identifies existing print overspend, plans print volumes, manages the print stocks and suggests the most appropriate paper stock and finishing processes for each venue.

In2Print business development manager Paul Wilson said: “We’ve been printing for hotels for quite a few years so it’s something that we’ve become a specialist in.

“We’ve had some synergy with Journey for a few years as it’s based on the same business park as we are and this service seemed like the next logical step forward.”

Journey managing director Simon Bullingham added: “Hotels need extraordinary quantities of printed material to function efficiently, from promotional brochures to room service booklets and ‘do not disturb’ door hangers.

“By integrating our hospitality expertise with the printing expertise of In2Print, we’re able to offer a premium service that caters for the entire hospitality spectrum.”

In2Print, which operates B2 and B3 Heidelberg litho presses, Xerox digital and Roland large-format machinery, will also produce items including stationery, signage, banners, menus, and keyring holders for hotels as part of the service.

“We’ve also got in-house mailing and fulfilment facilities so Journey can design the mailing and between the two of us we can handle the whole process from beginning to end without any outsourcing,” said Wilson.

In2Print, which has 32 staff, became part of Commercial Group earlier this year after it sold a majority stake in its business to the IT and print management specialist.
