Heytex adds low-cost PE fabric decoflex and appoints new sales chief

Heytex has bolstered its range of PVC-free printable textiles with decoflex, a low-cost material designed for interior applications such as exhibition graphics and point of sale.

"Expansion of our digitex portfolio at the entry-level price optimises our competitiveness as a full-service supplier of PVC-free sign textiles," said Heytex sign product manager Katrin von Dreele. "Decoflex offers extraordinary quality at an affordable price."

Available in widths up to 3.1m, the 200gsm polyester material is flame retardant to B1 standard, elastic and tear-resistant. Designed for use with dye-sublimation printing it has an acrylate coating.

Heytex has also appointed Henning Eichhorn as director of sales and business development to spearhead the firm’s worldwide growth strategy.

The technical textile firm was recently bought in a private-equity backed MBO.
