Durst first for Australian sign printer
Australian signage company Insane Signs & Print (IS&P) has become the world’s first printer to invest in two Fespa 2017-launched Rho 512R Plus print systems from Durst (B7-A20). The firm’s managing director Rodney James said: “We’ve spent a long time evaluating different printers and were most impressed by the visit to the Durst factory and their extensive testing. “When I first went to the Durst factory and R&D facility it seemed like it was something from a James Bond movie.” IS&P had previously had to turn down jobs, but James believes turnaround times will now dramatically decrease, with the possibility even of offering a same-day service.
