Monday, December 6, 2021
Preparations are well underway for three specialist industry events that were postponed due to coronavirus restrictions in Germany.
Converting, paper and print exhibitions ICE Europe, CCE International and InPrint Munich had been due to take place at the Munich Trade Fair Centre from 22 to 24 June 2021, having previously been moved back from 9 to 11 March 2021.
Exhibitors confirmed for InPrint Munich include Xaar, Agfa, Seiko Instruments, Inkatronic, Meteor Inkjet, Siegwerk, and Afford Inks.
Lamina System, Baysek Machines, Solarco Machinery, Kolbus, Bahmüller, Emmepi, and Sun Automation will be present at CCE International while Kroenert, Kampf, Polytype, Davis Standard, Erhardt + Leimer, and CMC will take stands at ICE Europe.
Mack-Brooks Exhibitions said visitors can also expect “an extensive and diverse supporting programme”.
“Finally, our live events can continue their critical role in bringing the global converting, paper and print industry together. As of today, a total of 467 exhibitors will be presenting their latest technologies on a combined net exhibition space of more than 13,500sqm,” said Patrick Herman, event director of converting, paper and print events at Mack-Brooks Exhibitions.
“For the first time, the three shows will take place at the same time and the same venue creating an all-round experience with increased opportunities and synergies for all trade visitors on-site.
“With InPrint Munich covering the print technology for industrial manufacturing we are now able to offer an almost comprehensive overview of the value chain.”
Mack-Brooks Exhibitions said a comprehensive and specialised conference programme at InPrint Munich will offer “exciting insight into market developments and innovative projects”. The presentations will focus on technology trends, new applications, and the latest technology for industrial manufacturing, and there will be Q&A sessions after each presentation.
ICE Europe, which focuses on the conversion of flexible, web-based materials such as paper, film, foil, and nonwovens, attracted 7,150 trade visitors when it was last held in 2019.
Corrugated and folding carton event CCE International, meanwhile, attracted 2,406 trade visitors in 2019, while industrial print expo InPrint Munich’s 2019 outing attracted 2,755 trade visitors.
Increased hygiene measures, social distancing management, and medical safeguarding will be part of the robust programme on-site at the three events and will be published in due course.
Visitor registration is already open. Tickets that grant access to all of the co-located events are now available in the show’s online ticket shop. Day tickets are available for €26 (£22.11) online and €40 on-site, while ‘season tickets’ are available for €36 online and €52 on-site.
