Duplo expands UK team with new hires

Duplo UK has strengthened its team with the addition of five new regional sales managers and a new UK marketing manager.

The first of the new starters, Paul Bromley, began at the start of June and is looking after the North West, as well as Stoke, North Wales, and the M62 corridor including York and Darlington. Coming from a role at GMG Colour, Bromley has experience in digital, flexo and litho sales.

John Ramage, who joined at the start of July, is looking after Scotland and the North East. He previously worked as the managing director of a commercial printer and comes with almost 30 years of print experience.

Cambridge-based Rob Thurston began in mid-July and is looking after the South East. Like Bromley, he came from GMG, where he accumulated 15 years of software experience and 17 years in pre-press and colour management.

Alan Brownley, who also began in July, manages the company’s northern channels and premier partners. He comes from a digital background at Ricoh and Kyocera and has 23 years of industry experience.

Mitch Ball began in mid-August and is responsible for the Midlands area. During his 18-year career in the print industry, he has worked as an operator, a technical demonstrator and a salesman. He joined the company from Friedheim International.

The new sales recruits join existing regional sales managers Jason Davies and Adam Drummond, who are responsible for the South West and London and its surrounding area respectively.

New UK marketing manager, Zunaid Rahman, joined in September from Friedheim to support recently appointed managing director Martyn Train.

Train commented: “We found some fantastic individuals to join the Duplo UK team.

“Our new sales and marketing infrastructure will enable us to better support our customers and cover the market as a whole, to absolutely ensure complete customer focus moving forward.”
