Duplo event draws in buyers

Duplo Internationals South East Showcase Event generated nearly 250,000 worth of business at its Esher, Surrey showroom last week.

The post-press firm used the event to give customers based in the South, who couldn't attend Northprint, the opportunity to see some of the products it launched at the Harrogate show.

"We, of course, had a lot of interest in the new products," said marketing communications manager Peter Jolly. "But our whole range, from the folders and guillotines to the binders and booklet-makers, was very busy."

More than 60 visitors came from 34 companies to see the products on show. "It was a great success," said Jolly.

At Northprint the firm debuted its SCC (Slit Cut Crease) system with the DSF sheetfeeder and System 2000 bookletmaker and its DBM two-knife trimmer, targeted at offset operations.
