Drytac follows up new equipment roll-out with substrates launch

Coating and lamination specialist Drytac has added several substrates to its range, following on from the launch of its new coating and laminating equipment last month.

The company is rolling out Interlam Pro – a new range of over-laminating films, which are suitable for both internal and external applications.

According to Drytac, the films incorporate the latest generation of aqueous acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesives.

Unlike solvent adhesives traditionally used for outdoor graphics, Interlam Pro contains no VOCs and is therefore less harmful to the environment, while also providing resistance to UV and durability in all weather conditions, the company said.

The new films are available in sizes up to 1400mm wide (1550mm for matt and lustre), and come in a range of finishes including gloss, lustre, matt and emerytex.

Last month, Drytac launched new machines in its Versacoater range – the PhotoMate, PressMate, DocuMate XL, and UV, AFC Liquid Coater and Photo Coater.
