Drytac has released a new range of gloss-finished substrates to add to its ReTac range of films.

The new ReTac Smooth 75 Gloss and ReTac Smooth 150 Gloss products are available as of January and add to the manufacturer’s portfolio of printable phthalate-free polymeric PVC films with “ultra-removable” adhesive.

By adding a gloss effect, Drytac is looking to offer an alternative to its matt range, with all products intended for applications such as murals, interior decor, decals, stickers and POS displays, especially those with curved, textured or angled surfaces.

Drytac global product manager Shaun Holdom said: “ReTac Smooth is a great product for a range of both interior and exterior display graphics applications, thanks to its dimensional stability, fire safety certification and ease of installation.

“The addition of a gloss finish to the range gives our customers even more choice when creating incredible wall graphics, murals, decals and more.”

Both new gloss substrates are certified for HP Latex inks, while also being compatible with UV, solvent and eco-solvent printing technology. The 150 is 6mm thick, while 75 is 3mm thick. Both are available in roll widths up to 1.37m, offering interior and exterior durability up to five years.
