BPIF shortlisted twice in trade association awards

The BPIF has made the shortlist twice for the Trade Association Forum (TAF) Best Practice Awards 2016.

The event recognises best practice among trade associations in the UK and is a chance for TAF members to show off their work and achievements in the past 12 to 18 months.

The British Book Design and Production Awards (BBDPA), run by the BPIF, was shortlisted for Event of the Year.

And the Book of the Night – the publication detailing the winners and finalists of the awards – was also shortlisted, for Publication of the Year.

BPIF marketing director Amy Hutchinson said: “I’m delighted about the shortlisting. It’s a great credit to the team’s hard work on this event and we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a win.

“The awards' purpose is to highlight the fantastic standard of book design and production. Each year we try to put on an event that demonstrates how print and design bring books to life, and facilitates networking between print, publishing and design.

"Our Book of the Night, which Precision Printing and The Page Design helped us create, celebrates this outstanding talent."

Winners will be announced at a TAF awards ceremony on 6 July in London.
