The BPF has launched a follow-up survey calling for feedback on the government’s coronavirus support schemes and printers’ experiences in accessing them.

The federation, together with supplies organisation Boss, carried out its initial survey from 23 March to 6 April.

It took place prior to the crucial Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme going live and detailed the already-devastating impact of the virus crisis on large parts of the printing industry.

“The approach being taken to manage both the economy and the public health crisis is very fast moving, and requires the industry to react and obtain research quickly in a rapidly changing situation,” the BPIF said.

The new survey is open until 30 April and can be found here.

The combined turnover of fully responding companies to the first survey was over £3.1bn across businesses employing more than 22,000 people.
