Bezier extends relationship with Argos and Homebase owner by signing three-year contract

The Bezier group has landed a contract extension with Home Retail Group's Argos and Homebase brands until 2012.

Under the agreement, Wakefield-based Bezier will supply the group with in-store promotional and point-of-sale (PoS) marketing material for 1,000 stores across the UK.

The contract extension follows on from a seven-year history between Bezier and Homebase, and three years of work for Argos.

In addition to supplying in-store printed materials, Bezier, which recorded a £100m turnover in 2008/2009, will offer online ordering systems, PoS, storage and library management to the group.

Mark Shaw, chief executive of Bezier, said: "We are extremely proud to have Home Retail Group as a client of Bezier group and we look forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership in the future."

Bezier, which employs around 1,000 staff, will also work with Home Retail Group on decking out new stores.

Harvey Bennett, head of marketing communications at Homebase, said the company was happy to continue our "close working relationship" with Bezier group.

"Bezier group are proactive in supporting us to deliver our retail marketing plan and work closely with us to improve processes and drive cost out of our business," he added.

The value of the deal was undisclosed.
