Arlon Printers 'goes the extra mile' to secure ISO 14001

Arlon Printers has said it is "marching forward" after being awarded the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.

The Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire-based  printer secured the accreditation in order to improve its service offering to clients and to boost its green credentials.

Richard Cockerill, joint managing director of Arlon Printers, said: "Every member of staff here at Arlon has gone that extra mile to help achieve this award in just under a year.

"Our achievement of ISO 14001 confirms to our clients that they can be confident we are meeting all our environmental legal requirements.

"It also shows that we have programmes and procedures in place, continually working to reduce our environmental impact in areas such as our working environment, the resources and energy usage during production and the reduction of unnecessary waste."

Arlon Printers employs 12 full-time staff and has a turnover of £1m.
