Antalis adds Orafol products for push into signage

Antalis has signed up to sell the Orafol range of substrates, including plotter vinyls, extending into the signage market.

"Until now our focus has been to grow business with our existing user base, now we are moving beyond wide format graphics into signage; the deal with Orafol enables that and shows that we mean business," said Antalis marketing manager for sign and display Chris Green.

Antalis has taken on the full Orafol range including coloured plotter vinyls, Orajet digital print substrates and Oraguard laminates and Oracal permanent and removable vinyl for screen and litho production. The Orajet range includes soft PVC, special PVC, polymeric and cast materials. The Oracal range includes sheets, reels, high tack and polyester films.

"The range includes environmental products, in other words those that are PVC-free, including polyolefin and polypropylene materials," said Green.

The Orafol range replaces Mactac products in the Antalis product portfolio.

Signing up Orafol is another step in the growth of the Antalis sign & display business, which was bolstered last year with a number of new appointments including Joe Kennedy, Michael Crook and the launch of its Coala own-label sign and graphics substrate range.
