Adare SEC has appointed Tracy Toon to its executive team as people director, with the aim of boosting staff engagement and customer experience.

Toon took up the newly created role at the communications company last month.

She comes with more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector and has held several senior HR roles.

Most recently, she was chief operating officer for Santander’s retail contact centres, where she managed the daily operations of 3,500 staff across the UK.

In her new role, Toon works across Adare SEC’s three sites in Huddersfield, Redditch and Nottingham, which employ 440 staff.

She will help to implement the company’s ongoing transformation strategy on the ‘people’ side, leading colleague involvement at work and pushing Adare SEC’s new “attract, develop and retain” approach to clients.

Toon said: “As Adare SEC further implements its transformation strategy, it is essential to make sure all colleagues are engaged and informed. This will enable the company to continue to deliver a best-in-class customer service.

“It is my responsibility to ensure Adare SEC’s colleagues feel truly valued as part of the company’s journey, and that it continues to be a great place to work for everyone across our three sites.”

Toon’s position is the second new executive team role to be created at the company as part of its transformation, following hot on the heels of Andrew Herd’s appointment as chief digital and information officer in October.

Adare SEC has a turnover of £69.7m. Its clients include Santander, financial services company Allianz and global professional services firm Aon.
