2016 PrintWeek Awards go live

The industry’s flagship awards scheme, the PrintWeek Awards, has launched this week.

The PrintWeek Awards are open to print businesses of any size, with categories spanning the full spectrum of the industry from commercial, packaging and wide-format print to customer service and cross-media.

There are two types of Awards: quality and performance.

As the name suggests, the quality awards are focused on exceptional print production across a body of four examples.

There are 17 quality award categories all of which are independently judged by leading print buyers over two days during the summer.

In addition to the quality awards there are seven performance awards, where a company is judged on its financial, environmental or business performance.

“The PrintWeek Awards are a fantastic way to promote your business and show your staff and new and existing clients that they really are working with the best of the best,” said PrintWeek editor and publisher Darryl Danielli.

This was echoed by Kirk Galloway, managing director of the 2015 Company of the Year, Buxton Press: “Winning one of the coveted PrintWeek Awards was a fantastic boost to our business, and generated a tremendous sense of pride and feel-good buzz throughout the company.

“And it has most certainly proved to be a significant persuading factor for prospective clients to place their work with us.”

The entry deadline for the Awards is 1 July, but entries received before 10 June qualify for a 20% discount on the entry fee.

If you have never entered the PrintWeek Awards before and would like to discuss which categories best suit your business, or would like advice or more information on what you need to do to enter, please contact our Awards team on 020 7501 6782 or email printweekawards@markallengroup.com.
