Q&A: Tim Hill Managing director, Speedscreen
Tuesday, September 1, 2015
Tim has been in the print game since leaving school at 16, and his first job was as a camera operator at a screen printer in Rochester.
He co-founded Speedscreen 29 years ago “with £5,000, a couple of hand benches, and some super clients – the clients must have thought we had all the latest kit, as we got through mountains by working all night on those benches”. Nowadays, Maidstone-based Speedscreen does have the latest kit, although the firm still screen prints as well. Outside of work, Tim might be found spending time with his family, or in suitably speedy pursuits including windsurfing, cycling or kart racing.
