Q&A Cameron Gray, business development manager, UK Book Binders

Cameron is 25 years old and has been in the industry for just over four years after swapping a personal training role in London for print finishing in Weston-super-Mare. He’s an Everton FC season ticket holder and “trains at the gym almost daily”.

What is your nickname?

My production manager seems to think it is ‘Cameroon’, though I’ve not yet authorised that

Why did you get into printing?

Through family members already being involved at UK Book Binders

What is your favourite phrase or saying?

‘Ain’t nobody got time fo’ dat’

What is your favourite album?

Spotify has ceased any necessity in me going out and buying a physical album unfortunately. Khalid, The Chainsmokers and Chris Brown are currently my recommended artists.

What is your favourite book?

Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins. He is bad ass

Cat or dog, or…?

Who or what makes you laugh?

Angry people in a queue to board a Ryanair plane, shouting about why everyone is in the Speedy Boarding queue, only to realise, Ryanair upsells Speedy Boarding to 90% of its customers. The cherry on top is when they ask the boarding desk for a cash refund. Brilliant stuff

In the wise words of Ronan Keating “Life is a roller-coaster, just gotta ride it”
