Hands up who’s become horribly addicted to the cult daily work-out-the-word game, Wordle?

A hand is raised here, as words are of course Overmatter’s tools.

Well guess what? Thanks to a creative fusion of the power of Wordle and the power of 3D printing, it’s now possible to display your daily performance using a cute 3D printed Wordle board that can be worn on a lanyard.

Why worry about over-sharing on social channels, when you can do it in person?

Kudos goes to Josef Prusa, creator of the Prusa range of 3D printers and the resulting vibrant community of makers, including ‘Kriswillcode’ who came up with the clever design for the Wordle score badge.

It comprises a six-by-five grid, black, yellow, green and white tiles, and a backplate to keep everything together.

“You’ll need one board, one back, and a bunch of the tiles. The exact number of tiles will be dependent on your game play. I suggest starting with 15 of each colour – 60 total,” Kriswillcode explains.

It must be noted that anyone regularly achieving a two-line Wordle result will need 20 white tiles. Anyone?
