From its origins as something of a cottage industry operating out of an old mill, Screenprint Productions has grown and grown and now occupies ‘three big factories in Brighouse’. Owners Martyn Hicks and Chris White “usually smile for photos” and assure us the team is “as happy as an Evangelist’s hymn book”.

How many staff do you have? 

We don’t “have” staff we nurture protect and love all 70 of them

What does your firm do? 

If you go into any retailer I can tell you what we have not supplied – we don’t supply the building, the racks or the merchandise; over 45 years we have pretty much supplied or fitted everything else

What’s your USP? 

‘Day by day, in every way, we are getting better and better’

What’s your typical customer? 

Someone who wants something that little bit extra, someone who expects service and doesn’t like to be let down

Same ethos, bigger factory, bigger canteen and lots more happy staff and customers

What’s your team’s favourite biscuit?

We don’t do biscuits, we do cake, especially Laura’s homebaking, which she sells to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
