Sign & Digital UK 2020
Start date: Tuesday, April 28, 2020
End date: Thursday, April 30, 2020
Sign & Digital UK (SDUK) will return in April with a fresh look and new features.
The show, delivered by new event director Jenny Matthew alongside Rudi Blackett as key account director and a new marketing and sales team, will be held at Birmingham’s NEC from 28-30 April 2020.
The signmaking and digital printing trade show, which is expected to attract more than 5,000 visitors, will showcase innovative products, technologies and services from across the industry, offered by a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers.
However, organisers said visitors can also expect new stand options and zones, a greater array of industry presentations, seminars, and live demonstrations, a fresh website, and stylish, contemporary design across the event.
Matthew and her team have fine-tuned the 2020 show in response to visitor feedback, drawing on questionnaires and interviews with SDUK’s core audience. They also hope to attract new visitors from the textiles production industry, as well as end-users in the creative, retail, lifestyle, education, and local government sectors.
One new feature for 2020 is TextileTech, a learning zone that responds to the expanding textiles print and finishing market. It will showcase textiles-related applications and demonstrations, skills workshops, leading industry speakers, and a ‘textile trail’.
The 2020 show will also include two new exhibition areas. Sign-Making Essentials will feature specialist suppliers of essential signmaking equipment, while the Applications Gallery will showcase a range of materials and substrates being used in a variety of creative application settings.
