Horizon Finishing First

Start date: Tuesday, September 27, 2022

End date: Thursday, September 29, 2022

The Horizon Finishing First 2022 event will see the manufacturer showcase a raft of new products.

Set to be held at the Horizon Academy in Quickborn, Germany, from September 27 to 29, the technology on show at the Academy’s newly refurbished showroom will highlight how greater automation and digitisation support new business approaches in finishing with robotics and software control via iCE LiNK.

Among the live presentations at the three-day event will be the iCE StitchLiner Mark V saddle-stitcher and the iCE Binder BQ-500 with ESF-1000 end sheet tipping machine, LBF-500 loose sheet book block feeder, and the GF-500 gauze feeder.

The case binding preparation system incorporates the BQ-500 four-clamp perfect binder, which builds on its predecessors the BQ-470 and BQ-480.

The AFV-566FKT fully automated cross-folder will also be on show.

All three of these systems include Horizon’s cloud-based iCE LiNK IoT automation, which uses cloud technology to automate workflow from upstream to post-press through a real-time dashboard accessed on smartphone, tablet, or desktop.

Responding to the continued growth in labels, packaging, and converting, the 6,000cph RD-4055DMC rotary die-cutter with dual magnetic cylinder will also be on show.

The event will feature keynote talks from industry experts and daily panel discussions moderated by Inkish TV’s Morten B. Reitoft.

There will also be a company update from the Horizon team and networking opportunities with more than 100 decision-makers each day from the German and European print and media industries.

Representatives from Horizon’s UK distributor Intelligent Finishing Systems will be in attendance to assist UK visitors at the invitation only event.
