Whitehall Printing moves to larger premises

Commercial printer Whitehall Printing has said demand for print has outstripped capacity at its current premises, as it expands into a site almost three times larger.

The Bristol-based company will move into a 696sqm factory later this month.

It also has plans to install an additional digital press alongside its three existing Heidelberg presses and Xerox digital press later this year.

Joint managing director Adam Bendon said that in the last 12 months, the company has seen a rapid growth in sales figures climbing to a 30% increase on the previous year.

He said: "It is tough out there, we would echo what other people are saying about the economic environment.

"However, we do run a tight ship, and recent growth has enabled us to expand to a larger facility."

He added that the business has been quite aggressive on prices, and is looking to expand further through organic growth in 2011.

Colin Bendon founded the family-run business in 1977, and it employs 15 staff and provides services to over 300 businesses across the South West.

The company produces lithographic and digital print, from business cards to brochures.
