Ludhiana-based Dulari Digital installs Kodak NexPress 3300

Dulari Digital Photo Services has announced the installation of the Kodak NexPress Photo Digital Production Colour Press.

The new press which functions on the dry electrophotography technology shall cater to the wedding, photo and commercial print customers in Punjab.

Our customers can enjoy unique dimensional raised 3-D prints, rich flood gloss prints, watermark prints, clear protective coat prints for almost all requirements including wedding albums, wedding calendars, 4x6 inches and 5x7 inches prints, brochures and targeted advertisements among others with an on-demand service that no other provider can match."

The Nexpress is a five-colour print engine with four-feeders with total capacity of 11,000 sheets/1100 mm pile height. It has a one high-capacity delivery with total capacity of 5000 sheets/500 mm pile height. The press is capable of printing on a range of 600 substrates. It can create applications with screen technology like classic, line, optimum, supra, and Kodak's patented staccato DX screening.

"There is a gap in the demand and supply of high quality digital photo and wedding albums in Punjab, with customers not finding the right provider for exceptional quality prints. The introduction of the Kodak NexPress at Dulari Digital will be fulfilling diverse printing requirements of print customers in Punjab." said Ramani Viswanathan, the vice president sales, digital print, EPS, Kodak India.

According to the data available with PrintWeek India, there are 13 units of Nexpress in India. Three more installations are on the anvil.
