Link Mailing acquires Print5

The print and mailing company has expanded its offering by acquiring local business Print5 for an undisclosed sum.

As part of the sale Link Mailing has acquired equipment previously owned by Print5 including a full-colour Heidleberg Press, two wide-format printers and two Konica Minolta high volume printers, one mono and one colour.

The deal means Coventry-based Link Mailing now offers digital, wide-format and litho printing, as well as mailing and delivery and its ten-strong workforce has been joined by six staff from Print5.

Link Mailing managing director Deborah Donaldson said: "This takeover means we can offer a complete – and unusual – range of services instead of simply concentrating on one area of the whole process.

"We are now offering a hybrid facility for printing, mailing and delivery which will be of real benefit to the customers of Link Mailing and Print5.

"This will save clients time, money and resources, which is a big plus point in the current economic climate."

Print5's former owner Alan Halliday, who is retiring, added: "We know the business we have built up will be in good hands as Link Mailing goes from strength to strength."
