Commercial printer LG Davis has bolstered its digital output after investing in a Xerox Nuvera 144 EA mono production system.

The Birmingham-based business has specified the machine with an inline Plockmatic Pro 30 booklet maker to improve the quality and turnaround of its booklet production work.

Matthew Watkiss, operations director at LG Davis, said the addition of the Nuvera 144 to a digital armoury that includes two Xerox iGen3 presses has "elevated us to the forefront of the digital market".

He added: "Our black and white offer is now as competitive as our colour one – and our clients have already noticed the difference in the quality of the products they’re receiving from us."

LG Davis was established in 1962, employs 44 staff and produces work for clients in the private sector.

Martyn Train, general manager of graphic communications at Xerox UK, added: "We are delighted to help LG Davis grow its business with the exceptional image quality provided by the Xerox Nuvera 144 EA production system."
