Hohner unveils new corporate identity

Hohner has turned its focus on its machine portfolio as it unveiled a new corporate identity at Drupa.

The finishing kit manufacturer is putting more emphasis on its saddlebinder portfolio, following years of being known as a stitchhead supplier.

John Sykes, managing director of Hohner UK, said: ''We're moving into a different league. We've built up our base steadily and now it's time to expand. Drupa has been the perfect opportunity.''

Alongside the existing HSB 10,000 saddlebinder, Hohner's newly launched HSB 8,000 model is taking centre stage at the company's stand.

The machine offers a maximum speed of 8,000 cycles an hour and can handle a format size up to 360x350mm.

Sykes said the 8,000 is being pitched at trade finishers, medium to large printers and digital outfits.

''With a quick changeover, the 8,000 really excels when handling short runs,'' he added.
